Accomplishments
Jake Plewa began his brokerage career in 2018 at Charles Dunn Company, the storied Los Angeles firm where many of the city's top commercial brokers got their start. There, he trained under veterans who had themselves come up through Sands Commercial of the 1980s, absorbing a discipline of investment brokerage that traces back to the foundations of the modern Los Angeles market.
In 2022, Jake joined RE/MAX Commercial & Investment Realty and immediately made history. In his first year with the company, he captured the Rookie of the Year Award and the Platinum Award for Gross Sales, becoming the fastest broker in company history to reach $1M in gross commissions, while also earning 100% Club and Executive Club honors.
In 2023, he was inducted into the Career Hall of Fame and swept the Executive Club, 100% Club, Platinum Club, and Chairman's Club awards. That same year, he ranked #4 worldwide at RE/MAX Commercial & Investment Realty, a remarkable feat for a broker in only his second year with the firm. Jake has sustained that elite level of performance ever since, earning Executive Club, 100% Club, and Platinum Club honors in both 2024 and 2025
Personal
When I’m not walking buildings or running numbers, I’m usually at home in Tarzana with my wife Amber, playing with our son, the dogs, or the chickens.
Home means a lot of time in the kitchen and the garden. I have a real interest in where food comes from, whether that’s sourcing from small farms outside LA or cooking a good steak the right way.
I’m also a lifelong tinkerer with a growing interest in flying, and there’s a good chance you’ll catch me talking about small aircraft if you let me.
I believe the same things about life that I believe about real estate: understand the fundamentals, work hard, and be patient.
